Guo jianping, researcher of Chinese academy of meteorological sciences, was invited to the chengdu university of information technology for academic exchange
On October 15, 2019, at the invitation of the school of atmospheric sciences, guo jianping, a researcher of the state key laboratory of disaster weather, Chinese academy of meteorological sciences, delivered a wonderful academic report entitled “boundary layer under high pollution background — research progress of cloud precipitation change” in conference room 310, meteorological building. This report was presided over by Mr. Wang shigong, and dozens of teachers and students took part in the exchange activities.
Guo jianping first introduced the interaction between aerosols and clouds and emphasized the importance of reverse thinking in scientific research. Then, guo jianping further introduced the spatio-temporal evolution process of boundary layer and cloud precipitation in highly polluted areas, and explained the interaction between aerosol and boundary layer with different stability degrees and the non-linear response mechanism of local convection-scale precipitation system to aerosol through MCS identification and tracking (AOL+KF) and other methods.
After the lecture, the guest speaker had a positive interaction with the teachers and students present.In-depth exchanges were conducted on “precipitation forecast accuracy”, “boundary layer and meteorological station data application” and other issues, and the academic atmosphere of the whole reporting process was good.
Guo jianping is a researcher and doctoral supervisor of the state key laboratory of disaster weather, Chinese academy of meteorological sciences.Selected by the department in the fourth phase of the national “ten thousand program” youth talent of plan, now the national key Research and development plan “a major natural disaster monitoring and early warning and prevention” key special projects project director, Geophysical Research Letters, deputy editor, meteorological committee, the Chinese meteorological society city environmental information branch of China environmental science institute member, the 33rd annual meeting of the Chinese meteorological society youth the co-chair of the BBS, China association for science and technology for the 327th time young scientists BBS “fog, the weather climate” executive chairman.
He is mainly engaged in boundary layer meteorology, aerosol and cloud precipitation interaction, aerosol radiation effect on cloud. At present, it has published nearly 120 papers included in SCI, cited by SCI source journals for more than 2,100 times, and H index is 27.6 papers were selected by ESI global TOP 1% cited papers (2 of them were selected by ESI global TOP 0.1% hot papers).
